The Tory, the Grit and Quebec
It is amusing to see the Stephen Harper and Paul Martin going after each other over Quebec, a province where the Liberals are expected to lose seats and where the Conservatives have little to no chance winning any seats. How exactly did Quebec become an issue? Oh yeah, when Harper mused that Martin wanted the Parti Quebecois to win the next Quebec election so that the Liberals can attack the separatists. Great. Can we leave Quebec out of this once? Is there any politician willing to substantially reduce or temporarily eliminate EI and CPP premiums since both funds have huge surpluses? Didn't think so. I'll just wait for my child care money Mr. Harper or Mr. Martin.
